Seyran CAFERLI - Azerbaidjan / Azerbaijan
Nascut in 1966 in Imishli, Azerbaidjan. Primul sau desen a fost publicat in revista umoristica "KIRPI" in 1982. A absolvit Institutul Jurnalistic de Arta in 1992. Membru al juriului la Concursul International FAIR PLAY in Turcia, 2001. In prezent este presedintele Uniunii Caricaturistilor din Azerbaidjan si editor sef la revista internationala "KARIKATURA" ("CARTOON"). In mai 2002 a organizat Primul Concurs International de Caricatura din Azerbaijan "Molla Nasreddin", in calitate de presedinte a juriului. Este editor din partea Azerbaidjanului, a revistei americane “WITTY WORLD”. Premii: 2000 - Premiul special, Fundatia Caricaturistilor din Ankara; 2001 - Diploma si Premiul special la al 14-lea Festival olandez de caricatura; 2001 - Premiul 2, la Consursul organizat de Uniunea Inginerilor Caricaturisti, Turcia.
Born in 1966 in Imishli, Azerbaijan. His first cartoon was printed in "KIRPI" comic magazine in 1982.He has graduated from Journalistic Art Institute in 1992. Member of jury in international FAIR PLAY Cartoon Contest in Turkey 2001. Now he is the president of the Cartoonists Union of Azerbaijan and Chief editor "KARIKATURA" ("CARTOON") international magazines. On May 2002 he organized first Azerbaijan "Molla Nasreddin" International Cartoon Contest having been the President of Jury. He is also the Azerbaijan-Editor of the “WITTY WORLD”, published in the USA. Awards: Ankara Cartoon Foundation, 2000, Special award; 14th DUTCH Cartoon Festival, 2001 (Netherlands), Special Award Diploma. Union of Engineers cartoon Contest - 2001 (Turkey), second place.
